we're opening for customs and making some changes!

we've been closed for customs for quite some time as i've been stocking the store and working on some really large orders that i've had over the past couple of months. today, i am opening for custom orders! just a few things about customs:

1. this is the last time we will be offering sized diapers on a custom order basis. i am overhauling my site and will from now on only be offering newborn, size 1, size 2 and one size diapers. i will still be offering size small sets through etsy, but beyond that, we will be phasing the sizes out [unless there is a huge outcry for sized diapers]. i'm pretty sure sized covers will always be available, unless we find that there isn't a huge demand for them. then the covers will be the same size as the diapers we offer.

2. i am only opening for customs for two days. i have two large wholesale orders that i have to work on and don't want to take in too much work. that typically leads to unhappy customers. orders will be finished in the order they were received AND paid for. if you place an order and cannot pay until later, that's fine - but paid orders will be worked on first. first come, first served, so please get your orders in soon if you want your diapers soon. tell your friends if you know they want to get a custom spot so they're able to get in. it will be at least a month before i open again. maybe longer.

3. custom orders typically take 3-4 weeks to complete. orders that are received quickly will go out quickly. sometimes in less than a week. lots of time, within the same week if they are smaller orders. if you have a question about where your order falls, please email me.

4. if you're looking for size 1 or size 2 diapers and don't see them on my customs site, it's because they're not there yet. if you want these diapers in any form [fitted/lights out/AIO], i can definitely make them for you. i just haven't had the time to get the buttons made and all the info added to the site. please email me at christine@esbaby.net. and don't worry about the first come, first serve. i will take your email [if you say you can pay immediately after working out details] as an order, and will place it accordingly in the custom order list.

5. one size covers will still be available but gussets will be an additional charge because they are a LOT more work than i had thought they would be.

6. see all those pages of swatches? they won't be there the next time around. swatches will be broken into two categories. the good ones, and the ones that are limited [meaning limited quantities and you'll have to pick a back-up from the regular swatches]. and some of them will be gone completely. so if you see something you love, order it now, for it may not return when the store is done being overhauled.

7. we will be offering a new quick dry all in two, so this is the last time you'll be able to order the current type. if you have quick dry all in twos from previous orders, you will always be able to order those inserts by contacting me directly.

please note:
items that you've seen in my instock etsy store that say "special edition" are just that. there will be no more diapers available in that print or fabric choice as i've used whatever print/fabric i have left in those special edition diapers. i know a lot of people have had a lot of interest in the olive colored newborn diapers on my site. if you want those diapers at that price, please buy them now as there will not be any available in the foreseeable future.

esbasic diapers will always be a white knit outer with your choice of color for snaps and serging. organic esbasic diaper sets will always be a layer of hemp/organic sherpa with a mix soaker with your choice of color for snaps and serging.

if you want something with a print, you will need to order the regular esfitted diapers. what's the difference between esbasics and esfitteds? esbasic diapers come with a white knit outer, sherpa inner and are topped with velour. the soaker is sewn together, 3 layers of sherpa and is not topped with velour and is not a quick dry soaker. esfitteds come with a print of your choice. they have a sherpa inner and are topped with velour. the soaker is quick-dry, meaning it is sewn down the middle and flaps open for super fast drying times. it is also topped with soft velour.

i think that's all i have to cover! any questions, please email me. thanks everyone!

this is exciting.

on monday 10/25, i'll be stocking etsy with two totally brand new products. i really wanted to start stocking some print all in ones in the store, and to prevent wicking, the best ones to use are quick dry all in ones [QDAIO]. also, i wanted them to be newborn size. well, the only problem with newborn diapers is that babies grow out of them so quickly! so i developed a 2 size diapering system for quick dry all in ones [we'll see how it does and if i make other style diapers in this way]. pictured below is a newborn QDAIO snapped down for the NB size. the next photo is the size 1 diaper snapped up into the small position. it has a nice long rise, is trim between the legs and the soaker shape has been changed to reduce bulk.

i will also be making these in a size 2, which will be a medium/trim long. pictures will follow soon.

esorganic basic sets! and still open for customs

i hope august is treating everyone well! i'm happy to be able to offer esorganic basic sets now. these sets are just like the regular esbasic sets, except they're made from all organic materials. they can be ordered on a custom basis right here. i am also open for everything else still. i'm running at about 2 weeks for turnaround time, but i am catching up really fast, so orders will start moving out more quickly. if you have any questions regarding anything: customs, instock, etc - please email me.

thanks!

a hobo/chic/hideously ugly/but still at the same time, incredibly awesome bag

i'm working on a new bag right now. no patterns, no nothing. just whatever comes out of my head and on to the fabric - keeping some measurements in mind. you will love this bag. why? because it's a perfect weekender bag. it's the perfect bag if you have two kids in diapers and are going out for the day. heck, you could probably fit two small children in this bag. great for markets, grocery shopping [especially if you want to take everything in your house at once], babies, and the like.

and besides, this is going to be the coolest looking diaper bag/grocery bag/whatever bag anyone has ever seen. well, maybe not. but it's definitely original and it's definitely big. and it will definitely be for sale next week.

oh, and it has a zippered top and tons of pockets and such. just as most of my other bags do.

are you sold yet? probably won't be making another one of these unless some really great fabric comes along, at a really great price.

now offering wet/dry bags!

we're now offering wet/dry bags. i'll get some stocked in the coming days in different sizes. this is an example of a small wet/dry bag. it offers an outer pocket for keeping clean items in, while the attached wetbag is for dirty items. the series of photos below shows how a 14 inch postpartum pad can still fit into a small wetbag. and as with all of our wetbags, i sew these at the top of the bag, to prevent wicking/leaking through the side seams. no need to worry about your dry, clean items getting wet. they also all come with a matching handle for hanging.

one-size diapers stocked!

just posted a bunch of one-size diapers in new prints, girl and boy alike!

we're still working on getting some one size quick dry all in ones out. i'm in the process of testing the side-snapping pattern, and the front snapping pattern is pretty much done with testing. we'll be releasing those soon.

if you haven't done so already, please go to my shop and sign up for my newsletter. the sign-up box is at the very bottom of the page. i send out coupon codes, shop updates and things of that nature on a bi-weekly/sometimes monthly basis [depending on how busy we are].

also, these diapers come with the additional snaps on the small soaker so that a doubler can be snapped into it. doublers are optional and cost $2. if you want to purchase a doubler for your small soaker, please email me or convo me on etsy. below is a picture of a small soaker with the 3 layer sherpa doubler snapped into it. also, if you place a custom order for a one-size diaper, the small soaker now comes with those snaps as well.

i haven't updated in a little while because i've been really busy working on getting the last of the one-size diaper testers out. they should make their debut sometime next week. so, if you haven't already, please sign up for my newsletter at the bottom of my shop's front page. i'll be sending out updates and coupon codes for my etsy store.

also, finished up a super cute dress/true AIO set today in heather ross's mermaid print on gold. the diaper interior is made from bamboo fleece/bamboo velour. from now on, i'll putting black size tags on diapers that are organic/bamboo. if you are interested in anything that isn't listed on my site: dresses, bags, etc, please send me an email. that's how i take care of special orders.

"hello, baby!" custom sets listed on etsy!

hello everyone!

i've had a few requests to do my "welcome home, baby!" sets in bigger sizes, so now is your chance to buy these reduced price sets. i am only going to offer a couple in each size, so get them while you can! [that link takes you to the mediums, but there are med long and larges in stock as well].

each set comes with 6 esbasic diapers and 3 lights out covers. esbasics are made of a white knit outer, hidden layer of sherpa, which is topped with natural cotton velour in the diaper body. the soaker is a 3 layer sherpa soaker that snaps into the diaper body for fast drying times and longer diaper life. lights out covers are composed of an outer colored layer of PUL and an inner layer of white PUL. all bound with white fold over elastic. snaps, thread and PUL colors are [as always] made to match the diapers.

you pick color scheme [gender neutral, boy, gir] and front or side snapping for the diapers and covers. i will choose what colors will go into the set. just let me know if there are any colors you want to avoid when ordering.

thanks!

all in twos stocked!

i just stocked a bunch of all in twos! 3 in each size: medium, medium long and large. boy and girl prints/color combinations. threw some wipes in there as well.

i made an update to the pattern as well. first off, the snap-in/removable diaper now snaps in the back AND the front, which i figured would be better for walking/moving babies.

here's a large all in one snap-in diaper:

snap-in diaper snapped into the back of the cover:

snap-in diaper being snapped into the front of the cover:

front soaker positioning snaps:

all in two all snapped up:

in the medium longs and larges, i made the snap-in diapers with two positions for the snap-in soaker. it can be snapped in the front or the back, depending on preference. in testing for our one-size diaper, i had a lot of positive feedback about the front positioning of the soaker, so i'll be carrying this option through with all of my diapers from now on. the mediums listed on etsy only have the back positioning for the soaker, as i made the change after i made these diapers.

one size diapers are coming soon!

"welcome home, baby!" sets listed

welcome home, baby! set

i just finished up three "welcome home, baby!" fitted cloth diaper/cover sets. each set comes with 6 newborn size fitted cloth diapers and 3 covers. the gender neutral set comes with 3 lights out [overnight] covers, which are great during the day as well. the girl and boy sets come with two lights out covers and one eswrapping cover. these fitteds are from my esbasics line. they're trim and have 3 layer soakers.

i took a little more time with these sets though, in that i matched up the inner and outer serging thread on the fitted diapers to their covers and snaps. i think they look pretty great.
