they're here!

hi everyone!

i just got done listing 13 one size quick dry all in ones on etsy - both side and front snapping. these are made from the same pattern as our fitted pattern, so the fit is the same. the side snapping diapers are great because you can adjust the thigh and waist for a perfect fit. there are 5 rows of snaps on the wings of the side snapping diapers, allowing even the smallest of babies to have a snug fit.

here are some photos of how the side snapping diapers snap up and down for each size:

there are some great color combinations up right now. my personal fave is the yellow and grey. looove. you can also order your own color combinations from my store. if you have any questions or comments about our one size diapers, please feel free to contact me. thanks!

I have two of the one-size diaper, and I absolutely love them. I'm saving up to order a few custom one-sizes. I have one in teal and one an adorable owls print. I also love that I can choose to place the double in either the front or the back. And they're very absorbant, I've boldly gone coverless and haven't had a problem. They contain messes very well, and so far every mess has cleaned out perfectly, no stains! (and I've had lots of issues with stains on other diapers). Easy to maintain, easy to use, this is definitely our go-to diaper. Thanks!

WOW! I was lucky enough to win a beautiful "Fall Fruit Trees" print esbaby one-size fitted diaper, and I LOVE it!! It is incredibly beautiful and well-made! I can tell that it is going to last for a long time too as it has so many size options. My dd LOVES it too! She has already been asking to wear her tree dipe! The diaper is so squishy, soft, and incredibly absorbant! I would definitely add more of these to our stash! Just amazing!!! Thanks!

update on store stocking and a special donation!

hello everyone!

i know our instock store is looking a little sparse right now, but we've been so busy working on orders, we haven't had the chance to restock.

how to get a husband wetbag

i've been pretty bad at taking order pictures to post, but i'll definitely try to get some good pictures of the current orders we're working on.

next stocking will be sets in most sizes of our esbasic covers. priced as sets, these covers are cheaper than most covers in the market right now. same with our esbasic sets of diapers - including the one that's in my etsy store. they're even priced cheaper than kissaluvs! and the covers aren't just one layer of PUL. they're two layers of PUL, shiny side away from your baby, and are bound in colorful super-soft foldover elastic. we're still offering 2 small sets of three pick your color covers right now. they all come with a small pocket in the front - great for placing prefolds in.

if you haven't done so already, please sign up for the newsletter at the bottom of esbaby's custom store page. there's a box at the bottom that says 'newsletter sign-up'. just enter your address and click, and you'll be added to my database. i will be sending out some coupon codes in the near future for instock discounts. i'd like to clear out the store a little to make way for some new products. mostly our one size quick dry all in ones - side AND front snapping. and some new covers [how do we feel about gussets?]

lastly, but not least, esbaby is donating enough diapers and covers to a local program called "starting together" to help three local families cloth diaper their babies. we purchased snappis, infant and regular prefolds [45 pounds worth!] and enough covers to keep their babies in cloth from newborn to potty learning. i'm prepping the prefolds as i type this, and the diapers/covers will be ready to go out next month. esbaby is also donating some 2 size covers as well [a pattern i'm working on currently]. if you have any used diapers or covers that you'd like to part with, and want to send them this way, i would be more than happy to pass them on to starting together. please contact me at christine!@!esbaby.net for more info. for the next two weeks i am offering a special promotion - for every donation you send me, i will give you a free shipping code, good on instock and custom orders in my store. offer ends december 7th.they more cloth they receive, the better. that way, more families will be able to put their babies in cloth - saving them money, and our landfills from disposable diaper waste. don't worry if diapers need repairs - i can easily make repairs to diapers that need them.

starting together is a very important program to me. when i became pregnant with my daughter at the age of 18, i enrolled in the program. a family support worker started making weekly visits to my house, while i was pregnant to discuss what to expect when it came to childbirth, breastfeeding, etc. she was also very helpful in advocating for me when my daughter was born 5 weeks early and was in the NICU in syracuse, ny. she helped me make the contacts i needed to obtain a breast pump, and was there for me emotionally, which was extremely helpful being a young single mother. my family support worker visited me on a weekly basis until my daughter was three - and when i got pregnant with my son, i started seeing her again. through her i spread the word about cloth diapering, and when i worked as a chapter for miracle diapers, we were able to supply some families in the program with cloth. it felt great to give back to a program that helped me and my children so much. and i hope some of you out there will be willing to pass something along as well! [local moms- i will pick up any donations/ moms who i've given free diapers to in the past - it would be great if you could re-donate those diapers either back to me or another family in need please!]

thanks for reading and enjoy your thanksgiving week!

one-size diapers stocked!

just posted a bunch of one-size diapers in new prints, girl and boy alike!

we're still working on getting some one size quick dry all in ones out. i'm in the process of testing the side-snapping pattern, and the front snapping pattern is pretty much done with testing. we'll be releasing those soon.

if you haven't done so already, please go to my shop and sign up for my newsletter. the sign-up box is at the very bottom of the page. i send out coupon codes, shop updates and things of that nature on a bi-weekly/sometimes monthly basis [depending on how busy we are].

also, these diapers come with the additional snaps on the small soaker so that a doubler can be snapped into it. doublers are optional and cost $2. if you want to purchase a doubler for your small soaker, please email me or convo me on etsy. below is a picture of a small soaker with the 3 layer sherpa doubler snapped into it. also, if you place a custom order for a one-size diaper, the small soaker now comes with those snaps as well.

we're still here!

we've been pretty busy working on customs and a wholesale order, but hopefully we'll be getting the store stocked really soon. we're planning on getting a good batch of OS fitteds out. i'm also working on a one-size side snapping QDAIO pattern worked up. the pattern is drawn up, i just have to find the time to get a few made and get them to testers. then i hope we'll be able to release those soon as well. we're still open for customs, too!

here are a couple of photos of what we've been working on along with some NB set gift boxes.

one size quick dry all in ones

oh, OS QDAIOs. you like to give me problems. and a lot of them. right now we've been working very hard on getting a QDAIO OS pattern that is totally functional and looks great at the same time. well, we've managed to make it totally functional. the only problem we've been having is some wing roll, which is very slight, and doesn't happen on every baby, but still, happens sometimes. i think we're going to keep the pattern as is for now and work on a side snapping QDAIO OS. no wing roll worries, and honestly, i've always loved side snapping diapers better anyway. regardless, i had a local request to make 7 QDAIO OS diapers for a little boy. here are the pictures:

also, we're offering a doubler option for the small soaker in our one size diaper. it snaps into the small soaker. since the large soaker automatically comes with a doubler [the small soaker], i thought it'd be a good idea to offer the littler guys and girls some extra protection, too. so that's a small soaker with a 3 layer doubler snapped into the back of it. all small soakers will come with the snaps for the doubler, even if you don't order a doubler. that way, if you decide to order one in the future, you'll be able to add it easily. or, if you hand your diapers down and the next person wants to buy a doubler, they'd be able to without a problem.

we'll be adding some more cover sets to etsy very soon. newborn and medium. also, there are still some small cover sets left. you can double up on those and make it a 6 cover set, like the set that was listed before.

any questions, etc, please email me christine [!@] esbaby.net. we're still open for customs, too!

oh yeah, and i'm about to add some great new prints to my store. so keep an eye out here for updates!
